U.S. Central Command confirms three Air Force jets have been shot down in a friendly fire incident in Kuwait.
The F-15 E Strike Eagles flying in support of Operation Epic Fury were shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses during active combat that included Iranian aircraft, ballistic missiles and drones.
All six crew members ejected safely and are listed in stable condition. The incident is under investigation.
