By Early voting is underway for next week’s elections in Texas, and U.S. Senator John Cornyn voted Monday in the Republican Senate primary runoff.
Accompanied by his wife Sandy Cornyn, the four-term incumbent cast his ballot at the Circle C Community Center in Austin. Cornyn greeted supporters, spoke with voters, and posed for photos outside the polling place.
He faces Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in next Tuesday’s runoff. The winner will face the Democratic candidate, James Talarico, in November.
