Toyota is thinking about building a two-billion-dollar project that could bring two thousand new jobs to San Antonio’s Toyota plant.
The company is reportedly applying for tax breaks and incentives to help make it happen. If approved, Toyota’s new vehicle assembly line could start construction this year and be in operation by 2030. But the company is considering other possible sites as well.
Toyota has 14 manufacturing plants in North America, including the one in San Antonio, which builds the Tundra and the Sequoia.
