DHR Health And University Of Houston Break Ground On Major Medical Research & Education Center In The RGV

It was a medical milestone day for the RGV on Thursday.  One of the largest physician-owned hospitals in the nation, DHR Health, and the University of Houston moved dirt on a 4 story medical research and education center near the main hospital campus in McAllen / Edinburg.  

The new U of H / DHR research and education facility will serve as a pipeline for new physicians, provide expanded clinical research, and increase the data set on Hispanic based medical treatments.   The 64,000-square-foot should be completed by late 2027.
