A man has been arrested in Edinburg after allegedly causing a crash that injured a passenger. Police were called to the area of Rutherford and Sonoma avenues just before 2:30 on Saturday morning.
Investigators say 25-year-old Andrew Rodriguez made a sharp turn onto Rutherford Avenue, causing a woman in the back seat to be ejected through the left rear window.
The woman was reportedly in critical condition on Saturday. Rodriguez was charged with intoxication assault and given a 75-thousand-dollar bond.
