Houston police are reporting the arrests of four people who tried to prevent the removal of a rainbow crosswalk in the Montrose.

Governor Greg Abbott recently ordered cities across Texas to remove rainbow crosswalks and other ideological symbols from public roadways.

On Monday, protesters gathered at the intersection of Westheimer and Taft, where the crosswalks were being removed. Houston police arrested four people for blocking the roadway.
