There’s been a death at a Dallas funeral home. A worker was crushed by a burial vault. That’s the heavy concrete structure that houses a casket after burial.
Dallas Fire and Rescue say they had to use hydraulic spreaders and air bags and free the man at the Restland Funeral Home. He was pinned from the waist down by the vault, which fell as it was being lifted by a crane. It’s being ruled an accidental death
