New York police believe a 64-year-old woman took her own life after killing her daughter and four grandchildren.
The bodies of Amy Steadman, her daughter Sarah Myers and her four grandchildren were found Tuesday in her upstate apartment in Mechanicville after a neighbor requested a welfare check.
The local police chief says a handwritten note found in the apartment “strongly suggests” that Amy Steadman was involved.
