The May jobs report is out and it’s beating all expectations. The Bureau of Labor Statistics says new, non-farm payrolls increased by 172-thousand last month.

Most analysts were anticipating only about 80-thousand new jobs. As expected, the unemployment rate was unchanged at four-point-three percent.
