A singer from the Houston area is now considered a suspect in the death of a teenage girl. David Anthony Burke of Hempstead performs under the name of D4vd.
Police say the remains of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas were found in a Tesla at a Los Angeles tow yard in September. Rivas had been missing since April 2024, and was identified through forensics.
Investigators say Burke likely had help dismembering and disposing of her body. The cause of Rivas’s death hasn’t been determined.
