By A man who was sentenced to death for killing his three children will be returning to Cameron County next month. John Allen Rubio will be in court for a competency hearing related to his death sentence.
Rubio has been on death row since 2010 after being convicted of killing his kids. His attorneys claim he doesn’t understand that he’s about to be put to death. Rubio’s execution is set for November 12th.
