By The mayor of La Marque is out on bond following his arrest for indecent exposure. Angleton police took Mayor Keith Bell into custody at a business park on Friday.
Bell bonded out on Saturday afternoon under court-ordered conditions that he not contact the victim, not go near her home, and stay away from the school she attends.
Bell has been the mayor of La Marque since 2021. He will remain in office unless he resigns or is removed in a process allowed by the La Marque City Charter.
