A man in Arizona is charged with capital murder in the 1981 cold-case killing of a 23-year-old woman in Universal City. Kelly Brower Sr. was arrested last Wednesday for the murder of Yolanda Herrera. Herrera was found dead in a Universal City field two days after she was last seen leaving a bar.

Evidence indicated she had been sexually assaulted prior to her death. Investigators say a DNA match identified Brower as the suspect. He was already in custody in Cottonwood, Arizona, on an unrelated charge when he was arrested.
