A suspect in a double murder cold case is awaiting extradition to Harris County after his arrest in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Acting on a tip and DNA evidence, Houston police and FBI agents took Floyd Parrott into custody on Wednesday.
Parrott is accused of cutting the throats of Cheryl Henry and Andy Atkinson in 1990 in a west Houston lover’s lane just over a mile from where Parrott worked. He’s also accused of raping Henry. Parrott was 28 at the time of the crimes, and is now 64.
