An Edinburg man has pleaded guilty to charges connected to a deadly 2023 crash near Alamo.
Investigators say 21-year-old Alan Nicolas Rios was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe that hit a bicycle rider near the intersection of Alamo and Texas roads. Thirty-six-year-old Amilcar Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rios pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter on Tuesday and was sentenced to ten years of probation.
