A jury has convicted a Tarrant County man for a 2025 murder. Steven Black was found guilty of the July 2025 murder of Susan Watkins. Black was sentenced to life in prison.
Officials say on July 9th, 2025, Black threw Watkins to the ground in the 900 block of South Jennings Avenue and stomped on her head repeatedly. Black also threw rocks at Watkins’ head and left her body in a dumpster.
