President Trump says he plans on spending more time in Texas as the midterm elections approach. Trump flew to Texas on Thursday morning to host a private fundraiser for the Republican National Committee and to honor NASA Astronauts.
During an Oval Office appearance before leaving for Texas, Trump expressed his support of U.S. Senate candidate and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. The president said, “I’m going to help Ken Paxton and I’m going to spend a lot of time in Texas.”
