A man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to attacking his wife in 2024. Thirty-year-old Miguel Mariscal the Third pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a family member yesterday.
Mariscal was arrested after his wife was found unconscious with severe injuries to her face and skull nearly two years ago. The victim reportedly suffered neurological injuries and strokes following the attack.
