The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley has sold out its season-opening football game against UT-Permian Basin. The university placed a limited number of single-game tickets on sale yesterday morning.
The remaining tickets were purchased quickly, and the university declared a sellout around 9 a.m. It’s the eighth consecutive home sellout for the Vaqueros and their first this season.
