More details are emerging about a conservator appointed to oversee academic progress in the Monte Alto school district. A community meeting to discuss the situation was held on Monday evening.
Officials say incorrect grades were recorded for students between 2019 and 2023. The errors were allegedly deliberate, and the district self-reported the grading discrepancies to the Texas Education Agency.
