Three people have been charged for allegedly trying to smuggle narcotics into a Cameron County detention center. Investigators say the scheme involved the use of fake legal papers containing synthetic drugs that were mailed to Detention Center One.
The sheriff’s office says inmate Victor Hernandez, Junior, directed the scheme, while his spouse, Kassandra Larose, prepared and sent the fake documents to the facility. Inmate Michael Molina was also charged as part of the alleged drug conspiracy.
