By Officials are investigating the death of a postal worker who collapsed while making his rounds in Little Elm on Monday.
Little Elm Fire responded around 2 p.m. to a report that the mailman had passed out in his truck on Thornhill Lane near Graystone Drive. EMS administered CPR, but Umeshkumar Thakkar was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was a heat advisory in effect for Little Elm on Monday, but it’s not yet known whether Thakkar’s death was heat-related.
