The self-driving taxi company Waymo is under fire after video shows one of their cars blocking an ambulance that was responding to the shooting in Austin. It took a police officer about one minute to convince the car to exit the scene.
A spokeswoman for Austin-Travis County EMS says they prepare for this scenario and said there was not a “significant impact to patient care or overall response operations.”
