A super PAC affiliated with Senate Majority Leader John Thune is placing its first media ad buy in support of Ken Paxton’s U.S. Senate race.
Texas PAC, a new group with the Senate Leadership Fund, on Friday bought more than 51 million dollars’ worth of broadcast TV ads in the San Antonio, Austin, DFW and Houston media markets.
Thune urged President Donald Trump’s political operation to spend money to help Paxton. MAGA Inc., the Trump-aligned super PAC, bought 10-million dollars in Texas ad time over the weekend.
