By Senator Ted Cruz says he’s willing to support President Donald Trump’s proposal to give five-thousand-dollar payments to U.S. adults as long as they only go to people who work and pay taxes.
The Texas Republican told Fox News that his support “depends on how it’s structured” and says he thinks they should be incentivizing work. The proposal is facing strong pushback from both sides of the political aisle.
