Rounds of severe storms are set to bear down on millions across the Midwest and Great Lakes this week.
Starting today, a level two out of four severe storm threat is covering major cities Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Damaging winds are expected to be the primary hazard.
Widespread rain totals of up to three inches could also be seen across the region as the week moves forward. Localized pockets of three to five inches of rain are possible.
