At least one of the six people found dead inside a railroad boxcar in Laredo, Texas was from Mexico. That’s according to the medical examiner’s office. She apparently died from heat exhaustion. A cause of death has not been determined for the four men, who are also believed to be illegal immigrants
The bodies were discovered during an inspection at a rail yard in Laredo, not far from the U.S.-Mexico border. No survivors were found. Union Pacific says it’s cooperating with the investigation.
