By Governor Greg Abbott is designating both the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations as foreign terrorist organizations.
This paves the way for “heightened enforcement” against the organizations. But, more importantly, it prohibits them from buying land in Texas. The governor accused the group’s leaders of trying to “forcibly impose Sharia law” in Texas.
