Investigators say a third person has died following a shooting at a home in Alton.
First responders were called to the Tuscany Village subdivision on Tuesday night and found two people dead inside a home. A third person who was taken to the hospital for treatment also died from their injuries.
Police identified the victims as Sweeta Ram, Kamlesh Rani and Minder Kaur. Gaurav Chopra has been arrested in connection with the three deaths. The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office, the Alton Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety are investigating.
