The state of Texas is assessing the damage following Sunday’s severe weather. Governor Abbott issued a disaster declaration for 101 Texas counties on Monday. The declaration includes Hidalgo, Cameron, Willacy and Starr counties.
The Texas Department of Emergency Management has opened a survey to assess the damage, though officials say filling out the survey is not a guarantee of any disaster relief. The survey is available online at damage.tdem.texas.gov
