A South Texas high school is getting additional penalties after a review by the University Interscholastic League.

The UIL announced reprimands Monday for Progreso High School boys’ basketball coach Raul Rivera, boys’ soccer coach Damian Magallan, girls’ soccer coach Eric Garcia and former athletic director and track coach Ivan Gonzalez.

The four men also received two-year probations, while two years were added to the school’s existing two-year probation. The new penalties are related to student-athlete eligibility violations reported last year.
