A woman has been arrested for allegedly failing to report her husband for his use of a horse whip on a child.
The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Maria Munoz Coria of Alamo has been charged with failure to report a felony with serious bodily injury. Coria was reportedly present when her husband struck her child with the whip last month.
Forty-seven-year-old Romeo Maldonado was arrested on a felony charge of injury to a child following a report of child abuse by his stepson’s school.
