A trial date has been set for a teen accused of killing a San Benito police officer. The trial of Rogelio Martinez, Junior, will begin in Cameron County on August 10th.
Martinez was one of two people arrested for the 2023 death of San Benito Police Lieutenant Milton Resendez during a pursuit. Martinez has been charged with murder and prosecutors will be seeking the death penalty.
