Two people are dead after a deputy pursuit turned into a fiery crash in Harris County on Saturday.

Authorities say it began after a deputy attempted to pull over a car that was seen running a red light. The vehicle eluded police but was later found in a wooded area engulfed in flames. One person had been ejected, while another was found side the burned out car. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
