A San Antonio woman is in custody and accused of a 2024 murder in Indianapolis.
U.S. Marshals arrested Shakayla Johnson last week near La Cantera Parkway on the city’s Northwest Side. Indiana prosecutors questioned and released Johnson after the November 2024 shooting death of Tyshaun Williams. After discovering more evidence, Indianapolis detectives issued a warrant for Johnson’s arrest this month.
Following her arrest, she was extradited to Marion County, Indiana, to face a murder charge.
