NRA Works To Prevent Election Of Talarico To US Senate

The National Rifle Association is doing what it can to keep Democrat James Talarico from being elected to the US Senate this fall.

John Commerford, executive director of the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, says Talarico is an opponent who should be taken seriously. Talarico is a state representative who’s running as a moderate, but the NRA is highlighting his past gun control votes.

The NRA was in Houston over the weekend for its annual meeting, which was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
