An Alton man is facing aggravated assault charges after a weekend shooting in McAllen.
A 34-year-old man was shot in a parking lot of a business in the four-thousand block of Expressway 83 early Saturday morning.
Investigators say the victim was wounded by 26-year-old Salvador Picena Rangel, who fired a handgun from a vehicle before driving away.
Rangel was arraigned over the weekend and released on a 60-thousand-dollar bond.
