A man is facing charges after state troopers found 500 pounds of marijuana following a high-speed chase.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says troopers tried to pull over an SUV in the Roma area on Wednesday morning. The driver refused to stop, leading to a chase that lasted about ten minutes.
A search of the vehicle found 43 wrapped bundles of marijuana in the back of the SUV. David Garcia was charged with possession with intent to distribute following his arrest.
