By A Cameron County community is looking for a new city administrator. Rendie Gonzalez was fired from her position on Tuesday after a closed-door meeting of the city council. Gonzalez reportedly had clashed with the city’s police chief.
The decision led to the resignation of the office manager, and Mayor Michael Galvan said he was also considering his resignation due to a “rogue board.” Gonzalez had held the position for a year and a half.
