By A new boat ramp is open on South Padre Island. Officials held a grand opening for the Marisol Boat Ramp Tuesday. The three-million-dollar project is the first public bay access built on the island in 30 years.
The ramp includes truck and trailer parking and a fish-cleaning station, and is also ADA-accessible.
