By The House Ethics Committee is investigating Texas Congressman Lance Gooden. According to a statement from the panel, it received a referral from the Office of Congressional Conduct regarding the Dallas-area Republican, but did not disclose the nature of the probe.
Gooden rejected the investigation and told Fox News, “these are bogus spending allegations perpetrated by dishonest unelected OCC bureaucrats.” The panel said it will announce its course of action on or before November 9th.
