Poll: Talarico Leads Paxton In U.S. Senate Race

A new poll in Texas shows Democrat James Talarico with a four-point lead over state Attorney General Ken Paxton in the race for U.S. Senate.

In the Texas Pulse/Texas A&M poll, 47 percent of Texas voters plan to support Talarico, while 43 percent chose Paxton. The poll found Talarico with strong support among independent, younger and female voters, while Paxton continues to lead among men and on border security.

The survey of 619 Texas voters was conducted July 27th through 30th.
