The Texas Rangers are looking into a deadly officer-involved shooting in Mission. Police were called to the 16-hundred block of Oblate Avenue early yesterday morning after a report of someone experiencing a high-stress situation.
A person with a knife allegedly moved toward officers and a bystander, leading the officers to fire. That person was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The officers have been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation.
