A Donna man has died after his truck fell into a canal and caught fire. The Texas Department of Public Safety began investigating Sunday morning after the truck became airborne and fell into the canal on Trenton Road near Tower Road east of Edinburg.
The truck caught fire after it landed, leading to the death of 22-year-old Jesus Manuel Renteria. DPS investigators are still looking into the cause of the crash.
