By An American Airlines flight from Dallas to Newark was diverted to Baltimore Thursday night after a passenger became violent.
Images from flight 618 show the passenger, identified as 67-year old Arthur Lundeen of Arizona, duct-taped to his seat after he allegedly became verbally and physically aggressive toward his seat-mate as well as flight attendants.
Another passenger on the flight said the target of his attack “looked Middle Eastern and was wearing a nice business suit.” He also appeared to target three Black flight attendants. Lundeen had to be dragged from the plane after it landed in Baltimore. He was charged with assault and disorderly conduct. The flight continued on to Newark, arriving several hours late.
