Federal Disaster Assistance OK’d For 19 Texas Counties Affected By July Floods

At least 19 southwest Texas counties will receive federal money for infrastructure repairs after major flooding in July.

Governor Greg Abbott announced Thursday that President Donald Trump had approved a major disaster declaration to release FEMA public funding.

Abbott said Uvalde, Zavala, and Kerr Counties are on the list, and a request for funding for nine more counties is still pending.
