Assistance from all over the country, and from other countries, are surging into the Texas Hill Country to help with flood recovery.

Kerrville Police Sergeant Jonathan Lamb says the search effort is slow and it’s going to take time to go through giant piles of debris. The death toll, in Kerr County, rose by one today. But, he says, that number will likely grow.

More than 160-people remain missing. That includes five children and one counselor from Camp Mystic, which was destroyed by flood waters.
