(Fort Worth, TX) — The Fort Worth City Council has voted to suspend the city’s DEI initiatives. Backers say it was needed to comply with Trump administration and protect nearly 300-million dollars in federal grants.

The vote came after nearly six-hours of debate. Most public comment was in support of the “diversity and inclusion” efforts.
