The City of Elsa wants to make sure older residents who live alone feel supported by the community. The city’s public safety agencies have launched the Connecting, Assisting, Respecting, Engaging and Supporting initiative, also known as the CARES Program.

The program offers wellness checks, safety education, resource connections and emergency support to the elderly and their families. More information about the program is available from the Elsa Police Department.
