At least five people are dead and multiple others are injured after a multi-vehicle crash near Terrell on Saturday.
Authorities say the crash happened around 2:40 p.m. on Interstate 20 near Hiram Road.
Emergency crews were called to the scene, and I-20 was closed in both directions due to debris and the severity. According to the Terrell Volunteer Fire Department, crews described the crash scene as “horrific.”
